A University Tradition
The University Club is a historical landmark located minutes from The University of Alabama’s campus. James H. Dearing, a member of the Alabama legislature, was its first occupant in 1834. Over the years, it housed many Alabama elites, notably becoming the residence for Governor Arthur Bagby during his time in office. In 1946, The University Club was established as a private club for UA Faculty and Staff. Today, we provide excellent cuisine for private dining and create memorable experiences for The University community and other area residents.

We invite you to join us for our daily lunch buffet! The buffet is available Sunday - Friday from 11am-1:30pm. Our A la Carte
menu is also available on weekdays. Reservations are encouraged.

Monday, Dec. 2nd – Hamburger Steak, Fried Flounder, Savory Bread Pudding, Collard Greens, and Black-Eyed Peas
Tuesday, Dec. 3rd – Pot Roast, Salmon Patties with Tartar Sauce, Steamed Rice, Buttered Broccoli, and Fried Green Tomatoes
Wednesday, Dec. 4th – Teriyaki Chicken, Pepper Steak, Fried Rice, Grilled Vegetables, and Napa Cabbage
Thursday, Dec. 5th – Veal Saltimbocca, Chicken Parmesan, Pasta and Tomato Sauce, Fried Zucchini, and Wilted Spinach
Friday, Dec. 6th – Fried Chicken, Roasted Pork Loin, Mashed Potatoes, Stewed Squash, and Lima Beans
Sunday, Dec. 8th – Carved Prime Rib, Baked Chicken, Steamed Tilapia, and Blueberry Crunch
