A University Tradition
The University Club is a historical landmark located minutes from The University of Alabama’s campus. James H. Dearing, a member of the Alabama legislature, was its first occupant in 1834. Over the years, it housed many Alabama elites, notably becoming the residence for Governor Arthur Bagby during his time in office. In 1946, The University Club was established as a private club for UA Faculty and Staff. Today, we provide excellent cuisine for private dining and create memorable experiences for The University community and other area residents.
Daily Lunch Buffet
We invite you to join us for our daily lunch buffet! The buffet is available Sunday - Friday from 11:00am-1:30pm. Our A la Carte
menu is also available on weekdays. Reservations are encouraged.
Monday, December 15th – Grilled Chicken with Honey Mustard Sauce, Beer Battered Cod, Wild Rice, Fried Squash, and Chef's Choice Vegetable
Tuesday, December 16th – Fried Bone-In Chicken, Dill Scented Salmon, Rice Pilaf, Roasted Root Vegetables, and Chef's Choice Vegetable
Wednesday, December 17th – Beef Brisket, Chicken with Sundried Tomatoes, Spanish Rice, Butterbeans, and Chef's Choice Vegetable
Thursday, December 18th – Meatloaf, Chicken Scampi with Linguini, New Potatoes, Artichoke Ragout, and Chef's Choice Vegetable
Friday, December 19th – Chili Cornbread Casserole, Fried Flounder, Creamed Corn, Speckled Butterbeans, and Chef's Choice Vegetable
