A University Tradition
The University Club is a historical landmark located minutes from The University of Alabama’s campus. James H. Dearing, a member of the Alabama legislature, was its first occupant in 1834. Over the years, it housed many Alabama elites, notably becoming the residence for Governor Arthur Bagby during his time in office. In 1946, The University Club was established as a private club for UA Faculty and Staff. Today, we provide excellent cuisine for private dining and create memorable experiences for The University community and other area residents.
Daily Lunch Buffet
We invite you to join us for our daily lunch buffet! The buffet is available Sunday - Friday from 11:00am-1:30pm. Our A la Carte
menu is also available on weekdays. Reservations are encouraged.
Monday, January 26th – Roasted Bone-In Chicken, Cajun Catfish, Hash Brown Casserole, English Peas, and Cauliflower
Tuesday, January 27th – Chicken and Broccoli Casserole, Beef Brisket, Corn with Peppers and Onions, Collard Greens, and Lima Beans
Wednesday, January 28th – Pasta Bolognese, Grilled Salmon, Quinoa, Grilled Asparagus, and Roasted Squash Medley
Thursday, January 29th – Pulled BBQ Pork, Beer Battered Cod, Fried Potatoes and Onions, Baked Beans, and Green Beans
Friday, January 30th – Turkey Tetrazzini, Salisbury Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Red Wine Mushrooms, and Steamed Broccoli
Sunday, February 1st – Deluxe Pancake Station, Fried Bone-In Chicken, Grilled Lemon Salmon, and Blackberry Cobbler
Monday, February 2nd – Fried Chicken Tenders, Pot Roast with Vegetables, Mashed Potatoes, Turnip Greens, and Stewed Squash
