A University Tradition
The University Club is a historical landmark located minutes from The University of Alabama’s campus. James H. Dearing, a member of the Alabama legislature, was its first occupant in 1834. Over the years, it housed many Alabama elites, notably becoming the residence for Governor Arthur Bagby during his time in office. In 1946, The University Club was established as a private club for UA Faculty and Staff. Today, we provide excellent cuisine for private dining and create memorable experiences for The University community and other area residents.

We invite you to join us for our daily lunch buffet! The buffet is available Sunday - Friday from 11:00am-1:30pm. Our A la Carte
menu is also available on weekdays. Reservations are encouraged.

Thursday, May 28th - Chicken Marsala, Hamburger Steak, Brown Rice, Zucchini with Roasted Tomatoes, Steamed Carrots
Friday, May 29th - Pulled Pork, Blackened Mahi, Baked Beans, Macaroni and Cheese, Roasted Yellow Squash
Sunday, May 31st - Carved Prime Rib, Smoked Catfish, Roasted Bone-In Chicken, Blackberry Cobbler
Monday, June 1st - Lamb Shepherd's Pie, Marinated Pork Loin, Ginger Carrots, Grilled Asparagus, Brown Rice
