A University Tradition
The University Club is a historical landmark located minutes from The University of Alabama’s campus. James H. Dearing, a member of the Alabama legislature, was its first occupant in 1834. Over the years, it housed many Alabama elites, notably becoming the residence for Governor Arthur Bagby during his time in office. In 1946, The University Club was established as a private club for UA Faculty and Staff. Today, we provide excellent cuisine for private dining and create memorable experiences for The University community and other area residents.

We invite you to join us for our daily lunch buffet! The buffet is available Sunday - Friday from 11:00am-1:30pm. Our A la Carte
menu is also available on weekdays. Reservations are encouraged.
Monday, Mar. 10th – Stuffed Bell Peppers, Chicken Parmesan, Pesto Pasta, Grilled Zucchini, and Corn
Tuesday, Mar. 11th – Chicken Pot Pie, Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable Medley, and Collard Greens
Wednesday, Mar. 12th – Pot Roast, Herb Grilled Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, Dill Carrots, and Broccoli
Thursday, Mar. 13th – Chicken Marsala, Herb Roasted Pork Loin, Corn Pudding, Green Peas with Pearl Onions, and Cauliflower
Friday, Mar. 14th – Fried Catfish, Monterrey Chicken, Yellow Rice, Pinto Beans, and Steamed Cabbage
Saturday, Mar. 15th – CLOSED
Sunday, Mar. 16th – Marinated Leg of Lamb, Chicken Casserole, Cajun Grilled Salmon, and Cookies and Brownies
Monday, Mar. 17th – Fried Flounder, Hamburger Steak with Gravy, Black-Eyed Peas, Mashed Potatoes, and Turnip Greens
